Auferstehung Christi

The depiction of several events spread over time in one painting is one of the characteristic features of this work. Christ the Triumphant stepping out of the sarcophagus is watched by two soldiers in awe, a scene which does not correspond with the biblical text but probably originates from the theological literature of the period. In the same scene the Three Maries are bringing the myrrh for the burial of the Saviour's body.

Charakteristickým rysem tohoto díla je zobrazení několika časově různých událostí v jednom obraze. Vítězného Krista vystupujícího ze sarkofágu s úžasem sledují dva vojáci, což nekoresponduje s biblickým textem, ale patrně souvisí s dobovou teologickou literaturou. V téže scéně tři Marie přinášejí myrhu k pohřbení těla Spasitele.
